- New: Ambutronic compact refrigerator for medication transport
- Appropriate heating solutions for the vehicle interior and as mobile systems
- Air-conditioning technology cools the patient compartment and the driver's cabin
Esslingen, 23 March 2017 − Focusing on the best possible temperature conditions for rescue workers and patients: Thermal management specialist Eberspaecher will be presenting tailor-made solutions for
heating and cooling in rescue and ambulance vehicles at the RETTmobil 2017 from 10 to 12 May in Fulda at Booth 711 in Hall 7.
As a new feature, Eberspaecher brings its compact refrigerator Ambutronic to the leading European Trade Fair for Rescue and Mobility: the 12 or 24 V stainless steel compressor refrigerator, specially developed for the transport of medicines, has a capacity of seven liters. With a small footprint, robust design and a variable door hinge, it can be flexibly installed in the interior of rescue and ambulance vehicles. The pre-set temperature of 4°C provides optimum cooling of pharmaceutical transports, but can also be set to between 2 and 8°C if necessary. The required transport temperature is ensured by both a visual and an acoustic alarm, which activates if the set temperature varies by more than 1.5°C.
Customized heating solutions for rescue operations
The Eberspaecher heating system portfolio is tailored to the extreme requirements of rescue services. For example, the fuel operated Airtronic air heater rapidly, reliably and exactly ensures the desired interior temperature. The Airtronic can be installed both in the cabin and underfloor. A digital time switch or an innovative remote control from Eberspaecher enables start-up and control of the pre-heater as required. The compact mobile heater Polarn brings warmth to any rescue location. The compact heating system in two model variants is diesel operated, easy to transport and is ready for operation in just a few steps. It runs quietly and is characterized by its low fuel consumption. The Polarn is thus ideally suited for a wide range of rescue operations, such as the emergency heating of tents by relief organizations.
Improved working conditions with suitable air-conditioning
Eberspaecher offers complete design and system integration of split air-conditioning systems for the cooling of rescue and medical vehicle interiors. The existing original air-conditioning system can also be extended using additional evaporators. In smaller cabins, the cooling capacity can be significantly increased with the compact EV4000 evaporator and its powerful blower. The EV6000-H for larger interior spaces has an additional heat exchanger and ensures not only cool but also pleasantly heated air. Vehicles equipped with heating and cooling systems improve rescue worker's operating conditions and also meet the legal temperature requirements for the patient compartment.
